ABOUT ME
I was born in Pahiatua, New Zealand. I received a BSc in Physics/Chemistry, MSc in Chemistry at Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand. I undertook a Phd under the supervision of Prof. Andrew Brodie, Assoc. Prof. Eric Ainscough, and Dr Mark Waterland studying spin-crossover grafted polyphosphazenes in collaboration with Prof. Keith Murray (Monash University), Dr Guy Jameson (Otago University) and Prof. Harry Allcock (Pennsylvania State University). After obtaining a PhD I started a post-doctoral position with Prof. Paul Low (Durham University, UK) studying single molecule conductors in collaboration with Prof. Richard Nichols and Prof. Simon Higgins (Liverpool University) and Prof. Colin Lambert (Lancaster University) , after which I continued with Prof. Andrew Beeby (Durham University) developing emissive iridium complexes. Currently I am working with Prof. Martin Bryce on thermoelectric materials in collaboration with Prof. Nicolás Agraït (Univ Autonoma Madrid) and Colin Lambert (Lancaster University).
